Virginia High School Basketball - Skyline topped by Page County
December 27, 2023: Front Royal, VA 22630 The Page County Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Skyline Hawks to 47 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Woodstock for a Bull Run contest on Wednesday, January 3. Page County will battle a Falcons team coming off a 64-59 non-league win over East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
The Hawks (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats come into the Northwestern contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Warren County was defeated by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 43-28, in a league contest.
