Illinois High School Basketball - Argo knocked off by Proviso East
December 27, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 The Proviso East Pirates basketball team scored 31 points and held the host Argo Argonauts to 14 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willowbrook for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Proviso East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 31-10 league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Argonauts (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-2 record.
