December 27, 2023: Fort Meade, MD 20755 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) and the visiting Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD), saw Meade's basketball squad wallop Francis Scott Key by a count of 74-34.
With the victory, Meade upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to play the Wildecats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Wildecats come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Wilde Lake lost 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Overlea (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Francis Scott Key will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
