Washington High School Basketball - Newport fells West Valley
December 27, 2023: Spokane, WA 99212 Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA), 38-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newport upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to East Valley (Spokane, WA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-6. East Valley lost 54-50 in their recent non-league bout against Deer Park (Deer Park, WA)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Bonners Ferry Badgers (Bonners Ferry, ID) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
