December 27, 2023: Westlake Village, CA 91362 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA) and the visiting Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA), saw Oaks Christian's basketball squad overcome Simi Valley by a tally of 62-43.
With the victory, Oaks Christian improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Oxnard (Oxnard, CA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Oxnard lost 68-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Simi Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA).
