California High School Soccer - Eastside nudges Canyon
December 27, 2023: Lancaster, CA 93535 Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Eastside will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-1 non-league Eastside (Lancaster, CA).
The Cowboys now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valencia for a Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 2. Canyon will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
