December 27, 2024: Andover, MA 01810 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Andover Golden Warriors basketball team scored a close 74-68 triumph over the Beverly Panthers.
The Golden Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA). The Raiders go into the Merrimack Valley - Large contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Central Catholic nipped St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA), 70-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Beverly will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 65-54 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
