December 27, 2024: Sherman, TX 75090 The Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) basketball toppled the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 57-44 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Andress will play a Hornets team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, Sherman falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Anna (Anna, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, January 3. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Anna lost 81-48 in their recent non-league bout against Horn (Mesquite, TX)
