North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus knocked off by Ashbrook

December 27, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054

In Friday's non-league test, the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), by a score of 57-44.

Next, the Greenwave encounter the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Ashbrook will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Pumas come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 82-81 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC).

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, West Rowan beat East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 68-65, in a non-league test.
