In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a big 67-42 triumph over the Bald Eagle Area Eagles.

The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The WolfPack go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy was trounced by Greenwood (Millerstown, PA), 55-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Friday, January 3. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 63-36 league win over Bedford (Bedford, PA).
