North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ the King overwhelms Ballantyne Ridge
December 27, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves to 51 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Christ the King will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Ballantyne Ridge falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wolves host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Trojans in a 4A South Meck game on Friday, January 3. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 10-2. Olympic lost 50-38 in their recent non-league game against Davie (Mocksville, NC)
