Arkansas High School Basketball - Greenwood overwhelms Booneville
December 27, 2024: Booneville, AR 72927 The Greenwood Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Booneville Bearcats to 33 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Greenwood advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Cabot (Cabot, AR) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-13. Cabot lost 57-50 in their recent non-league match against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR)
The Bearcats now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charleston for a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. Booneville will face a Tigers squad coming off a 67-48 league loss to Cossatot River (Cove, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
