Texas High School Basketball - Borden County defeats Water Valley
December 27, 2024: Gail, TX 79738 The Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX), 39-24 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Coyotes now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling City for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Borden County will play a Eagles team coming off a 70-45 league loss to Christoval (Christoval, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Water Valley falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX) to play the Steers in a 1A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, January 3. The Steers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Robert Lee won 63-37 in their recent non-league bout against Menard (Menard, TX)
