In Friday's non-league contest, the host North Forney Falcons basketball team scored a good 50-41 win over the Brewer Bears.

The Falcons (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region II District 10 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Royse City was outscored by Angleton (Angleton, TX), 58-53, in a non-league battle.

The Bears now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irving for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Brewer will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 48-45 league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
