The Saugerties Sawyers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans to 61 in the Sawyers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sawyers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Averill Park for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Saugerties will confront a Warriors team coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake moves to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans host Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 28.
