December 27, 2024: Carlyle, IL 62231 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians (Carlyle, IL) and the visiting Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL), observed Carlyle's basketball team overwhelm Trico by a score of 63-22.
The Indians/Lady Indians (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Murphysboro trounced DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL), 63-28, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Trico falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Woodlawn lost 63-36 in their recent league bout against Waltonville (Waltonville, IL)
