South Carolina High School Basketball - Carvers Bay knocks off West Mecklenburg

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Carvers Bay Bears basketball team scored a good 82-66 win over the West Mecklenburg Hawks.

The Bears (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, York Prep defeated North Central (Kershaw, SC), 40-20, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. West Mecklenburg will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 101-60 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ).
