Wisconsin High School Basketball - Solon Springs can't hold off Clayton
December 27, 2024: Clayton, WI 54004 The Clayton Bears nudged the visiting Solon Springs Eagles basketball team by a margin of 49-46 in Friday's non-league game.
The Bears now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Elmwood/Plum City for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Clayton will confront a Wolves team coming off a 88-83 non-league win over Cadott (Cadott, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Solon Springs falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Butternut (Butternut, WI) to confront the Midgets in a Northern Lights game on Monday, January 6. The Midgets go into the game with a record of 0-4. Butternut lost 60-26 in their recent league outing against Mercer (Mercer, WI)
