In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-55 win over the Concord Yellowjackets.

The Golden Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Concord will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
