Texas High School Basketball - Connally can't get by McKinney North
December 27, 2024: McKinney, TX 75071 The Connally Cadets basketball squad (Waco, TX), was nudged 41-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX)
With the victory, McKinney North advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 16-7.
The Cadets now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway Charter Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Connally will meet a Gators squad coming off a 105-27 league loss to Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX). The Gators record now stands at 2-5.
