New Mexico High School Basketball - Mescalero Apache bested by Cuba
December 27, 2024: Mescalero, NM 88340 Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 59-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cuba advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 7-2. Bosque won 51-35 in their recent non-league match against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM)
The Chiefs now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eunice for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Mescalero Apache will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 54-34 non-league win over Dora (Dora, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.
