New Jersey High School Basketball - Penns Grove can't hold off Delsea
December 27, 2024: Franklinville, NJ 08322 Delsea Crusaders (Franklinville, NJ) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), 53-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Delsea advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Crusaders host Vineland (Vineland, NJ) to face the Fighting Clan in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Fighting Clan enter the match with a record of 4-1. Vineland lost 60-45 in their recent non-league match against Cherokee (Marlton, NJ)
The Red Devils now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Augustine Prep for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Penns Grove will face a Hermits squad coming off a 52-30 non-league win over KIPP Cooper Norcross (Camden, NJ). The Hermits record now stands at 2-3.
