Texas High School Basketball - Reagan County thwarts Dimmitt
December 27, 2024: Dimmitt, TX 79027 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) and the host Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX), observed Reagan County's basketball team knock off Dimmitt by a score of 63-51.
The Owls (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Wampus Cats come into the non-league challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Itasca dropped by McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX), 60-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Dimmitt will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX).
