Texas High School Basketball - Mexia victorious over Eagle Mountain

December 27, 2024: Fort Worth, TX

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mexia Black Cats basketball team scored a good 66-53 triumph over the Eagle Mountain Knights.

The Black Cats (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Randall topped Canyon (Canyon, TX), 66-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, January 3. Eagle Mountain will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 16-5 record after their 70-52 non-league win over Brock (Brock, TX).
