The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) and the visiting Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA), observed Lamar County's basketball team edge Elite Scholars Academy by a score of 57-53.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookstone (Columbus, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Brookstone edged Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA), 53-51, in a non-league challenge.
