The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball squad (Missouri City, TX), lost 70-61 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX)

With the victory, West Brook advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Bruins travel to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 12-7. Cypress Springs lost 63-48 in their recent league battle against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX)

The Hurricanes now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Austin for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Saturday, January 4. Fort Bend Hightower will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-36 non-league win over Friendswood (Friendswood, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-5.
