In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Killingly Redmen basketball team scored a close 69-63 triumph over the Grasso Tech Eagles.

The Redmen (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut II contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Woodstock Academy was tipped by East Lyme (East Lyme, CT), 59-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT) in a Connecticut Technical - East contest, on Friday, January 3. Grasso Tech will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Mighty Tigers go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 72-64 non-league win over Windham (Willimantic, CT).
