Texas High School Basketball - Hebron defeats Wakeland
December 27, 2024: Carrollton, TX 75010 The Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), 60-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Lewisville for a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, January 3. Hebron will play a Farmers team coming off a 71-65 non-league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 5-11.
With the loss, Wakeland falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Lovejoy won 59-39 in their recent league bout against McKinney North (McKinney, TX)
