Mississippi High School Basketball - Itawamba Agricultural succumbs to Heritage Academy
December 27, 2024: Fulton, MS 38843 In Friday's non-league test, the Heritage Academy Patriots (Columbus, MS) basketball squad defeated the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), by a final score of 69-53.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 1 test, on Friday, January 3. Heritage Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Chiefs come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL).
The Indians (8-7) will now prepare for their match against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave enter the non-league match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, West Point was dropped by Noxubee County (Macon, MS), 44-43, in a non-league match.
