The Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) basketball toppled the visiting New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), 54-41 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rudder for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Katy will play a Rangers team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, New Caney falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 0-18. Terry lost 57-29 in their recent league bout against Victoria East (Victoria, TX)
