The Shepherd Pirates bounced the host Kelly Catholic Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 57-30 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 28. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 22-0 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Evadale (Evadale, TX).

The Bulldogs (8-13) will now prepare for their outing against Legacy Prep Christian Academy (Magnolia, TX). The Lions enter the TAPPS 5A District 5 outing with a 8-5 record.
