Massachusetts High School Basketball - King Philip Regional can't hold off Medfield
December 27, 2024: Wrentham, MA 02093 Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA), 72-67 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Medfield advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Warriors host Bellingham (Bellingham, MA) to face the Blackhawks in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Blackhawks enter the match with a record of 0-5.
The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everett for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. King Philip Regional will face a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 73-45 league win over Somerville (Somerville, MA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 2-1.
