With the victory, Kirkwood advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Cobras travel to University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY) to meet the Blazers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. The Blazers enter the battle with a record of 1-6. University Heights lost 79-42 in their recent non-league battle against Evansville Central (Evansville, IN)
The Spartans now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Central for a District 14 battle on Friday, January 3. South Warren will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 70-50 non-league win over Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 6-0.
