December 27, 2024: Maryville, TN 37801 The Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA) basketball crushed the host William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN), 90-61 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Walton for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Lambert will play a Seahawks team coming off a 55-47 non-league win over Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, William Blount falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Heritage (Maryville, TN) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Heritage won 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN)
