The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lenawee Christian Cougars (Adrian, MI) and the host Springport Spartans (Springport, MI), observed Lenawee Christian's basketball team edge Springport by a score of 69-68.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Defenders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Tri-Unity Christian was tipped by West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI), 34-27, in a non-league challenge.
