The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) and the visiting Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), observed Ritchie County's basketball team overcome Lincoln County by a margin of 77-62.

The Rebels (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Wayne defeated Summers County (Hinton, WV), 72-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Friday, January 3. Lincoln County will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
