December 27, 2024: Frankfort, IL 60423 St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 65-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Anthony advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Robinson (Robinson, IL) to face the Maroons in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Maroons enter the match with a record of 1-10.
The Griffins now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oswego East for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Lincoln-Way East will face a Wolves squad coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 8-5.
