In Friday's non-league test, the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) basketball squad trounced the host MCC Crescents (Morton Grove, IL), by a score of 60-21.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a Upstate Eight test, on Tuesday, January 7. Ridgewood will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL).

The Crescents (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons enter the non-league outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Maine East was overwhelmed by Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL), 55-48, in a non-league outing.
