December 27, 2024: Plano, IL 60545 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) and the host Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), observed Mendota's basketball team knock off Plano by a score of 67-52.
The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Sandwich prevailed over Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL), 56-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Reapers encounter the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Plano will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL).
