December 27, 2024: Lexington, KY 40515 The Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) basketball edged the host Trinity Christian Academy Titans (Lexington, KY), 61-56 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Metcalfe County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 52-50 non-league win over Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
