New Jersey High School Basketball - Union City victorious over Monmouth Regional
December 27, 2024: Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Union City Soaring Eagles basketball team scored a good 45-29 triumph over the Monmouth Regional Falcons.
The Soaring Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Neptune was topped by Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 48-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Monmouth Regional will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Redbirds go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 77-63 league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ).
