December 27, 2024: Opelousas, LA 70570 The Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) basketball edged the host Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA), 62-56 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Bunkie for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Northwest will play a Panthers team coming off a 57-22 league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Westminster Academy falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28.
