The West Charlotte Lions bounced the host Piedmont Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 74-40 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Lions face the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City outing, on Tuesday, January 7. West Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers enter the non-league outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Legion Collegiate Academy routed Palmetto Christian Academy (Greenwood, SC), 65-52, in a non-league outing.
