Illinois High School Basketball - Teutopolis victorious over Pleasant Plains
December 27, 2024: Teutopolis, IL 62467 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Teutopolis Wooden Shoes basketball team scored a good 38-29 triumph over the Pleasant Plains Cardinals.
The Wooden Shoes (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony topped Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL), 65-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Pleasant Plains will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Greenwave go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 79-50 league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL).
