Missouri High School Basketball - Seymour can't hold off Pryor
December 27, 2024: Seymour, MO 65746 Pryor Tigers (Pryor, OK) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Seymour Tigers (Seymour, MO), 69-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pryor advances its record to 2-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK) to face the Tigers in a 5A District 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-4. Tahlequah lost 56-26 in their recent league match against Memorial (Tulsa, OK)
The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chamois for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Seymour will face a Pirates squad coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Vienna (Vienna, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 6-1.
