Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN), 65-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Southwestern upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-2. Corydon Central lost 43-42 in their recent non-league match against Charlestown (Charlestown, IN)

The Techies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tournament Opponent for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Purdue Polytechnic will face a squad coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The record now stands at 41-124.
