Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), 41-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Richland Northeast upgrades its record to 3-10 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-9. J.L. Mann lost 75-60 in their recent non-league match against Westwood (Blythewood, SC)

The Thoroughbreds now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. South Aiken will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 88-44 non-league win over Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 10-0.
