Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springdale bests Winchester Thurston
December 27, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 The Springdale Dynamos basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Winchester Thurston to 46 in the Dynamos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dynamos now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Riverview for a WPIAL 2A 1 game on Friday, January 3. Springdale will confront a Raiders team coming off a 66-36 league loss to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Winchester Thurston falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The travel to Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 5-1. Aquinas Academy won 92-73 in their recent league game against Summit Academy (Herman, PA)
