The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) and the host Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), observed Wayne's basketball team overcome Summers County by a margin of 72-53.

The Pioneers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Ritchie County dropped by Braxton County (Sutton, WV), 64-57, in a non-league challenge.
