With the victory, Washington County advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Commanders travel to Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY) to meet the Generals in a District 19 battle on Friday, January 3. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 5-6. Thomas Nelson won 43-29 in their recent non-league battle against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY)
The Wolves now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrard County for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. Wolfe County will meet a Golden Lions squad coming off a 58-46 non-league win over Berea (Berea, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 6-3.
